1. Information the app handles

Files and metadata selected by the user

The app processes audio files, cover images, rendered videos, titles, descriptions, tags, BPM, musical key, release schedules, and publishing preferences that the user selects or enters.

Google and YouTube data

After the user connects a YouTube channel, the app may access:

• basic information about the authenticated YouTube channel, such as channel ID and display title;
• authorization tokens issued by Google for the permissions approved by the user; and
• upload status and identifiers returned for videos that the user publishes through the app.

The app does not request the user's Google password and cannot see it.

2. Google permissions and purpose

WaveDrop Studio requests only these YouTube OAuth permissions:

• youtube.readonly — to identify and display the YouTube channel currently connected by the user;
• youtube.upload — to upload a video and its user-approved metadata to that channel when the user starts publishing.

These permissions are used only to provide the visible YouTube connection and publishing features. WaveDrop Studio does not use Google user data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or training generalized artificial intelligence models.

3. How information is used

Information is used to:

• create a video from user-selected audio and artwork;
• save local presets, history, metadata, and release schedules;
• show which YouTube channel is connected;
• upload content and metadata after an explicit publishing action; and
• report progress, success, or errors back to the user.

4. Storage, transfer, and sharing

Application settings, project history, and Google authorization tokens are stored locally on the user's computer. WaveDrop Studio does not operate a central server that collects these items. Files and metadata are transferred to YouTube only when needed to perform an upload requested by the user.

WaveDrop Studio does not sell Google user data. It does not share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties. Data may be disclosed only when required by law or when necessary to protect users and the integrity of the service.

5. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes it, disconnects the channel, clears application data, or uninstalls the app. A user can revoke WaveDrop Studio's Google access at any time from the Google Account third-party connections page. After revocation, the stored token can no longer access YouTube.

To remove local information, disconnect YouTube inside the app and clear WaveDrop Studio's application data or uninstall the app.

6. Security

WaveDrop Studio uses Google's OAuth authorization flow and takes reasonable measures to protect locally stored authorization data. No method of storage is completely secure, so users should also protect access to their Windows account and device.

7. User control and support

Users can choose not to connect YouTube and may continue using non-YouTube features. Access can be revoked at any time in Google Account settings. Privacy and deletion questions can be sent to the user-support email displayed on the WaveDrop Studio Google OAuth consent screen.

8. Google API Services User Data Policy

WaveDrop Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app's features or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
