Terms of Service
Effective August 7, 2026
These Terms govern use of WaveDrop Studio, a Windows desktop application for beatmakers that prepares videos and release metadata and supports user-controlled publishing to the user's own YouTube channel.
1. WaveDrop Studio service
WaveDrop Studio provides local desktop tools for combining user-provided audio and artwork into a video, preparing release metadata and schedules, connecting the user's own YouTube channel through Google OAuth, and publishing content after the user explicitly starts an upload.
2. User accounts and authorization
Users are responsible for their Google and YouTube accounts and for keeping their devices secure. Connecting YouTube authorizes only the permissions presented by Google's OAuth consent flow. Users may revoke WaveDrop Studio's Google access at any time from their Google Account.
3. User content and rights
Users retain their rights in content they process or upload. By using WaveDrop Studio, the user confirms that they own or have permission to use and publish the audio, artwork, titles, descriptions, tags and other material they submit. Users are responsible for copyright, licensing, credits and other third-party rights.
4. Publishing control
WaveDrop Studio is designed so YouTube uploads are user initiated. Users should review the selected video, title, description, tags, privacy/visibility and other publishing settings before starting an upload. The user remains responsible for the publishing action and the resulting content on their YouTube channel.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not use WaveDrop Studio to violate law, copyright, privacy or third-party rights; upload malicious, deceptive, abusive or unauthorized content; circumvent platform quotas or security controls; or misrepresent ownership or authorization of content.
6. Google and YouTube services
YouTube functionality is provided through Google OAuth and the YouTube Data API and is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, Google's applicable policies and the user's agreements with those services. WaveDrop Studio does not control Google's or YouTube's availability, quotas, moderation, account decisions or policy enforcement.
7. Privacy
WaveDrop Studio's handling of Google user data and other application information is described in the WaveDrop Studio Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.
8. Availability and warranty
WaveDrop Studio is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that every upload, schedule, conversion, third-party connection or metadata result will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Users should review output before publishing and keep backups of important source files.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WaveDrop Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the application, loss of files, failed or unintended publishing, account actions by third parties or changes to external services.
10. Ending use
Users may stop using WaveDrop Studio at any time, disconnect their YouTube channel, revoke Google authorization, remove local application data and uninstall the application.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in WaveDrop Studio, applicable law or third-party platform requirements. The effective date above will be updated when these Terms materially change.
